Dan is a lifelong resident of Bristol and began his career as an intern with Adams Samartino in 2012. Later, he graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2013 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and joined the firm full time. Kyle S. Biddick, CPA

Kyle graduated Magna Cum Laude from the College of the Holy Cross in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and accounting. He began his career as a staff accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Boston, MA in September of 2010. Kyle left PricewaterhouseCoopers in May of 2014 as a senior accountant and joined Adams Samartino & Co., CPAs. Kyle was admitted as a partner in October of 2019. Currently, Kyle is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, the treasurer of the St. Joseph School board, a member of the board for the Central CT Chamber of Commerce, and a member for the board of the Main Street Community Foundation. Kyle was also a founding member of the PYVOT, the young professional network of the Central CT Chamber of Commerce. Kyle and his wife Emily reside in Burlington, CT, where they are raising their sons Oliver and Charles.

Chris is a 1997 graduate of the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. Following graduation‚ Chris developed his public accounting skills while working for Capossella Cohen‚ LLC‚ S. Grove and Associates, LLC and Marenna Pia and Associates, LLC. Furthering his career‚ he joined Adams Samartino & Co.‚ CPAs in 2005 and was admitted as a partner in 2007. He is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants and currently serves as a corporator with Thomaston Savings Bank. He is also involved in Cheshire Youth Baseball as a coach and board member. Chris and his wife Alison reside in Cheshire‚ CT‚ where they are raising their three children, Andrew, Matthew and Ashley.

Diane joined Adams Samartino & Co.‚ CPAs as a partner in 1996, coming from the regional firm Blum‚ Shapiro and Co, where she was made a tax partner in 1990. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy from Bentley College in 1982 and a Master’s Degree in Taxation from the University of Hartford in 1987. Diane is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants. Additionally‚ she serves on the Northwest Regional Board for Hartford Healthcare, where she was Chairman of the Board for 3 1/2 years. She is also a board member of the Torrington Savings Bank. Diane is a Corporator for Brooker Memorial Inc. and the Torrington Historical Society, and also volunteers with many other civic and charitable organizations. Diane lives in Torrington with her husband Mark.

Michael J. Samartino, CPA

Mike graduated in 1982 from Central Connecticut State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting. He began his career as a staff accountant at Blum Shapiro in West Hartford, where‚ in December 1990‚ he was promoted to partner. Mike left Blum Shapiro in October of 1993 to return to his hometown of Bristol‚ CT and begin what is now Adams Samartino & Co.‚ CPAs. Mike and his wife Kathy reside in Bristol, where they raised their two grown children‚ Michael and Emily. Currently, Michael is a member of the Connecticut Society of Certified Public Accountants, is president of the Robert Rosenheim Foundation, a member of the finance committee for The Bristol Boys and Girls Club and Family Center, Inc. where he has spent over 20 years as a board member and past treasurer, and a long term member of the St. Joseph Church finance committee. Additionally, throughout his career‚ Mike has been involved in many volunteer organizations‚ including, board member and president of the St. Joseph School board, board member of the Archdiocese of Hartford School Board, and City of Bristol Finance Board member.

Michael V. Adams, CPA

For the past 40 years, Mike’s philosophy has been to treat his clients as if their business were his own and individuals as if they were his family. This personal relationship service has meant Mike invests time in their preparation for today and planning for their future. He offers expertise in taxes for individuals and businesses; trusts; and estates; and specializes in caring for his clients. Mike takes pride in offering extensive tax planning and a company culture that goes beyond CPA’s preparing tax returns. He, along with his partners, have built Adams Samartino & Co. CPA’s from a small local firm located in Bristol and Torrington, to one that has clients throughout the region.

It is with that same commitment, Mike has invested time in the greater Bristol area, believing that it is everyone’s duty to give back to strengthen the community in which we live. He has volunteered at various not-for-profit organizations, schools and sports teams, and continues to serve, for over 30 years, Bristol Hospital boards and committees. Now, after raising two sons, Tom and Steve, Mike and his wife Eileen enjoy more time for golf, tennis, traveling and relaxing at their lake cottage.
